MASRC Aboriginal Athlete Scholarship for Nurses


This Scholarship for Nurses is to encourage Aboriginal students to continue being active in sport while attending a recognized post secondary institute. Aboriginal students graduating from Grade 12 and who are enrolled into a full time University or other recognized Post Secondary Institution can apply for this scholarship. The candidate must have proficiency in sport, and have a minimum “C” (65%) average in his/her grades.
The amount of the scholarship is $500. Scholarship for Nurses will be awarded to those Aboriginal Youth who have shown athletic leadership in Manitoba’s amateur sport community through well rounded participation as an athlete, as well as on the basis of academic standing, and other school/community related activities.All Scholarship for Nurses candidates must complete the application form in full and provide all required information,documents, and letters in order for their applications to be considered.

EFINTD Junior Fellowships Scholarships for Nurses


The EFINTD Fellowship Scholarships for Nurses Programme is supporting fellowships both for junior researchers who have recently completed their doctorate studies and experienced researchers ready to take on larger research programmes.
provides funding for three year Fellowships Scholarships for Nurses for outstanding young post-doctoral African researchers from Sub-Saharan Africa to carry out applied research at African research institutions.
• focuses on translational or operational research questions. Proposals are welcome that address the public health issues related to preventing and treating neglected communicable tropical diseases, including those from social scientists, such as medical anthropologists, as well as from biomedical researchers.
• draws on collaboration between African and European research institutions, with the Fellow Scholarships for Nurses determining with which European institution he/she proposes to collaborate and on what research issues and topics.
• provides for additional support to the Fellows beyond salary, travel and research costs through mentorship from leading African and non-African scientists, networking opportunities and training in key career skills such as proposal writing and getting work published.
